Even before one Sweater Club concludes, everyone is asking what will be the next project! So without further ado, join our Sweater Club #26 now!

Our knitalongs meet-up in person and give everyone the encouragement to knit a sweater. We're here to help you along the way.

How this works

1) You choose which of the designs you want to make from our pre-selected list.

When selecting the designs for Sweater Club, we consider knitting trends, techniques used, designer creativity, pattern reliability, and size inclusivity (bust 30" to at least 60"). We feel that the designs we pre-select are sure to please a wide range of people.

2) Sign-up here (select the design option) or in the shop. There is no cost to join.

3) Purchase your yarn at our shop in order to participate.

4) Purchase your pattern on Ravelry or through our shop.

5) Join our weekly meet-ups for the community and knitting help along the way.

Meet-ups: Sundays 11am-12noon; beginning February 16 and continuing each week through April 6. Meet-ups are optional so come when you can.

We have open stitch nights every Wednesday from 5pm-7pm. That's also a good time to drop in for help with your sweater.

The Designs

For Sweater Club #26 - A little bit of everything in this one, with colorwork!

For the Knitters:

Seoul Blouse

Seoul Blouse is a soft, drapey and timeless addition to your wardrobe. It has a classic boat neck with increases on the shoulder for a dropped shoulder effect and a feminine look. Instead of the classic stripes, the horizontal pattern repeat in a contrasting colour is inspired by Korean script.

Seoul Blouse is worked top-down. You begin in the round and knit short rows for a slightly higher back as well as increases on the shoulders. Then you separate back and front and work flat, including the first two horizontal pattern repeats. After joining for the body, you continue in the round, finishing with an i-cord at the hem. Stitches are picked up for sleeves, which are worked in the round and finished with an i-cord edge. An i-cord edge is applied along the neckline for a neat finish.

DIFFICULTY: The blouse is of medium difficulty.

Bifurca Vest/Pullover

Bifurca is a cropped vest with modular construction.
The vest consists of a central panel (essentially a rectangle), worked in the round and featuring a botanical colorwork pattern, and four sides, worked sideways from the central panel and joined at the underarms. The edges of the body and armholes are finished with half twisted ribbing worked in the round.

Retreat Tee

Retreat Tee is a DK weight circular-yoke sweater designed to fit with 4” / 10 cm positive ease at the chest for a relaxed fit. This pattern is worked seamlessly from the top down, allowing you to try it on as you go and easily adjust the finished length to your preference. German short rows are incorporated below the neckline to raise the back of the neck slightly for a comfortable fit.

Retreat Tee is adorned with a stranded-colorwork yoke and Herringbone stitch collar. This pattern includes a high-hip body length and short sleeves.

For the Crocheters:

ColorFall Sweater

The Granny Stripe Shawl is worked flat from the top down using the three double crochet clusters. The number of clusters increases in each row, creating a beautiful drape that flatters the shoulders. Crochet the granny stripe rows until you reach your desired length. The shawl is finished with a pretty traditional scalloped edge, framing the upper part and sides first, then the bottom edge is made. Easy enough for confident beginners.
